Review of the NV GSM Watch Cell Phone from Australia

The NV Mobile from Australia, released a mobile phone with completely different style from others. A mobile phone with the shape of watch. Although this may be called a ‘smartphone’, but the design is rather oldies (more like born in 80′s not 2000′s). Well, let’s call it up to people’s taste. But even though, satisfactory doesn’t seem to come. Since so many flaws are sticking to this watch phone.

Like normal wristwatches, this gsm watch cell phone’s wrist can be adjusted, with buttons on the side that can manage the internal. But not like common wristwatches, it is not waterproof. The place for the battery is like stuck up and covering the place for USB port. Stylus is provided, of course, because most of all activities are done by using the stylus: text messaging, browsing the menus, change settings, etc.

Other features included are sensitive touchscreen, music player and camera functions. Sadly, features like call and messaging are poor enough. The volume quality of incoming and outgoing call is poorly low. Text messaging is just as awful. You have to write text messages with handwriting recognition, no T9 or predictive text option, the ABC keypad is just too tiny.

Despite all the weaknesses mentioned above, it has a pretty good multimedia feature. Sound recording, Audio playing, video recording or image viewing. It alsi has Bluetooth that enables you to use headphones with Bluetooth connectivity. It is also given a microSD slot for extra memory, just right next to the SIM card slot. This mobile watch can also act as a USB when connected to the PC. And there also world clock, alarm, calendar, WAP browser, to-do list and e-book reader.
