What does Personal Cellphone Signal Blocker do?

Fed up with clueless cell phone gabbing in public? Put an immediate cease to it with this personal cell phone signal blocker. Walking on a transportable battery that lasts five to six hours, this 6-ounce pocketable cell phone signal blocker(4"x1.85"x.71") disrupts signals from GSM, CDMA, DCS, PHS & 3G networks, & its manufacturer says it can do this miracle within a radius of...uh oh, get this: 2 to 40 feet.

Isn't it illegal to use a cell phone signal blocker?

Probably it is illegal to use a cell phone signal blocker, but not if you are the president. So, if you are reading the Giz, you are in the clear. In some circumstances, the morality of jamming mobile phone signals within a 40 foot range might be debatable. Even so, there is a train they ride from time to time that could definite use a dose of this phone signal blocker, all the way from engine to caboose. If this phone signal blocker could give us one sweet nap on the train, free of mobile phone yelling, it would be well worth.

Some people who have used the cell phone signal blocker say it works beautifully, while others are complaining they can not get it to work in the United States. We are thinking that it is of limited usefulness if it can only jam signals within 2 feet, but 40 feet away is a whole different story.
